Client file disclosure via unsanitized comparison path

Path traversal in rsync 3.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers controlling a server to read arbitrary client files during uploads. The client accepts a server-supplied xname as an unsanitized comparison path, opens that file, and reveals checksum-match results through redo messages. Exploitation requires the client to send files to the malicious server, which can reconstruct a selected readable file byte by byte.
