Cleartext PIN storage in ECOVACS Goat G1 lawnmowers allows physically proximate attackers to recover the anti-theft PIN. The anti-theft control runs in the system-on-chip and saves the PIN as plaintext on the robot filesystem, allowing extraction from a stolen unit. Physical possession and filesystem access are required; the recovered PIN permits the anti-theft lock to be reset.
