Data disclosure via unvalidated image URL fetch
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
SSRF in LLaVA git c121f04 allows remote attackers to read server-accessible data by supplying an arbitrary image URL. The load_image function passes an unvalidated image_file URL directly to requests.get, allowing requests to internal services and cloud metadata endpoints. The deployed inference path must accept an attacker-controlled image URL; successful requests expose data reachable from the server's network context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
