Authenticated post disclosure via unrestricted shortcode template selection
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information exposure in NicheAddons Events Addon for Elementor 2.2.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read nonpublic Elementor posts. The naevents_elementor_template shortcode accepts a user-controlled post identifier and renders the selected Elementor template without restricting retrieval to posts the caller may view. Contributor-level access is sufficient; exposure is limited to private or draft post data, with no reported write or availability impact.
