Credential disclosure via incompatible Web component logging
Published Dec 9, 2024 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
Sensitive-data logging in ARC Informatique PcVue 15.0.0 through 15.2.10 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.3 allows local users to read credentials. When a Web client and the PcVue Web back end run incompatible versions, the back end writes the submitted login and password into its log file. Exploitation requires administrative local access to that log after a mismatched component update, and the recovered credentials grant unauthorized application access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=15.0.0 <15.2.11
