Authenticated arbitrary file read via crafted path
Published Mar 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file read in Chimpstudio CS Framework 7.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files via a crafted request. The get_widget_settings_json() function uses an attacker-controlled file path to return arbitrary server-file contents without restricting the target. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, exposing readable configuration files and other sensitive data without modifying or deleting them.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
