Missing authorization in Alex Kirk Friends 3.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to establish an accepted intersite friendship via REST requests. Several friendship REST routes lack dedicated permission callbacks, allowing request handlers to send and accept friend requests without a capability decision. No authentication is required; a remote site can become an accepted friend and communicate with the targeted WordPress site.
