CVE-2024-12002Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated service crash via duplicate Content-Length headers

Published Nov 30, 2024 · Updated Dec 2, 2024

Null pointer dereference in Tenda FH451, FH1201, FH1202, and FH1206 version 20241129 allows remote authenticated users to crash the backend. The GetIPTV request path accepts conflicting Content-Length headers, reaches websReadEvent with a null text pointer, and passes it to strlen. Low-privileged network access and one crafted POST request are sufficient to terminate the backend process, interrupting router management service.
