File read and deletion via unchecked admin path
Published Nov 29, 2024 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Absolute path traversal in OpenSolution Quick.Cms 6.7 allows remote attackers to read or delete server files through a crafted admin.php parameter. The admin.php handler accepts an absolute path in aDirFiles[0] without checking that it remains inside the configured document root. The CNA rates access as unauthenticated, but OpenSolution states that an attacker must first log in to the administration panel; file access remains bounded by the web-server process's permissions.
