CVE-2024-11985Network attack vector

Authenticated device crash

Published Dec 4, 2024 · Updated Dec 4, 2024

Improper input validation in ASUS RT-AX55, RT-AX56U, RT-AX57, and RT-AX58U router families allows remote authenticated users to crash devices. ASUS has not published the affected input, processing locus, or validation operation that mishandles it. Administrative credentials and a high-complexity network request are required; successful exploitation interrupts availability by crashing the device.
