Reflected XSS via unescaped example-plugin request parameters
Published Jan 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Media Library Assistant 3.23 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through three request parameters. Three example-plugin handlers place attacker-controlled parameter values into generated page output without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted link; the injected script runs in that user's browser session.
