Authenticated database access via unsanitized troom parameter
Published Nov 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Responsive Hotel Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via troom. The /admin/room.php handler inserts the POST troom value directly into a MySQL query without validation or parameter binding, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based injection. Reachability requires access to the administrative room endpoint; demonstrated queries can disclose, modify, or delete database content and delay request processing.
