Stored XSS via unescaped price shortcode attribute
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Property Hive Mortgage Calculator 1.0.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via the price attribute. In affected releases, the mortgage-calculator.php template places the shortcode value inside an HTML input value attribute without output escaping, allowing crafted markup to persist in a published page. Contributor-level access is required to supply the attribute, and the script executes in the browser of anyone who visits the injected page within that visitor's WordPress session.
