Denial of service in PremiumSoft CyberTech Limited Navicat for MySQL 12.0.29 allows local users to interrupt the application through an SSH password. The SSH-tunnel connection dialog accepts a 5,005-byte sequence of A characters in its password field and reaches the denial-of-service condition when the connection is saved. Exploitation requires interactive local access to Navicat; the published proof of concept was tested on Windows XP, and no cross-platform behavior is documented.
