Subscriber-level data manipulation via unchecked AJAX actions
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in ShineTheme Traveler 3.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter site and booking data. Five AJAX handlers perform post, order, booking-approval, and user-information changes without checking the caller’s capabilities. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to modify or delete posts and pages, approve arbitrary orders, set arbitrary order prices, and deny user information.
