Cross-site scripting in GoAnywhere MFT before 7.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject HTML or JavaScript into emails. Certain Web Client email features that bypass Secure Mail accept attacker-controlled message content without validating or neutralizing active markup. The attacker needs permission to trigger emails; delivered content can alter the email seen by a recipient or execute script in a rendering client.
