Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Dec 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in LogicHunt Portfolio Pro 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via shortcode attributes. The portfolio-pro shortcode accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and renders them without proper output escaping, persisting attacker-controlled script markup in a post or page. Contributor-level access is required to create the content; the injected script executes when a visitor opens the affected page.
