Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Stored XSS in LangGenius Dify through the latest reported version allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an admin's browser. The chatbot's SVG Markdown support stores attacker-supplied SVG without sufficient validation or sanitization and renders the embedded script. A user able to submit chatbot content gains code execution only when an administrator views it, exposing browser-accessible credentials.
