Denial of service in Nsasoft NBMonitor Network Bandwidth Monitor 1.6.5.0 allows local users to crash it via a crafted registration Name value. The public proof of concept targets the Registration Handler Name field, but the failing operation and exact malformed-input constraint are undisclosed. A user with local access must submit the crafted value through the registration interface, interrupting bandwidth monitoring until the application is restarted.
