Stored XSS via unescaped Back button link
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored XSS in Project Panorama's Panorama 1.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a plugin setting. The Back button link field on the Panorama license settings page stores an administrator-supplied value without sanitizing or escaping it, then renders it on a project page. Administrator access is required, and another user must view the affected project; the injected script executes in that viewer's browser even when unfiltered_html is disabled.
