CVE-2024-11838Network attack vector

Authenticated local code inclusion via controlled file path

Published Dec 13, 2024 · Updated Dec 16, 2024

Path manipulation in PlexTrac 1.61.3 through 2.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to include local code through an API request. An undocumented endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled file name or path for local code inclusion, but PlexTrac has not disclosed the endpoint or exact file-loading operation. Exploitation requires low privileges, active user interaction, and additional attack conditions, and can expose or alter data and code in affected and downstream systems.
