Script execution via unescaped _wpnonce reflection
Published Dec 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Pingmeter Uptime Monitoring 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the _wpnonce parameter. The plugin's request-handling path returns the attacker-controlled _wpnonce value in an HTML response without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires a user to follow a crafted link, after which the injected script runs in that user's browser context and can read or modify data accessible to the page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
