Code execution via V8 parser out-of-bounds write
Published Nov 27, 2024 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Fuji Electric TELLUS Lite 4.0.20.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via a user-opened V8 file. The V-Simulator 5 parser fails to validate user-supplied V8 data before writing it past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file, and the resulting code runs in the context of the current process.
