Unauthenticated club permalink modification via unchecked settings_save
Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in ThemeBoy SportsPress 2.7.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to change club permalink settings. The settings_save() handler writes submitted club permalink values without checking whether the requester has the required WordPress capability. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation changes club URL routing but does not disclose data or interrupt the site.
