Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Averta Master Slider – Responsive Touch Slider 3.10.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The ms_slider shortcode accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, storing markup that browsers later execute. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload, and execution occurs only when a user opens the injected page in a browser.
