Database disclosure via unescaped AJAX sort parameter
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Iqonic Design KiviCare 3.6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data. The static_data_list AJAX action inserts the user-controlled sort[] value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Doctor- or receptionist-level access is required, and crafted input can append SQL that extracts data available to the WordPress database account.
