Database disclosure via unescaped orderby parameter
Published Dec 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Frontend Admin by DynamiApps 3.25.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data through the orderby parameter. The submissions CRUD code inserts the user-controlled orderby value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameter preparation. Reachability requires a page containing the form-submission shortcode and configuration granting unauthenticated visitors permission to view submissions; the reported consequence is database information disclosure.
