Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored XSS in Couleur Citron tarteaucitron.js for WordPress before 0.3.0 allows remote attackers to inject scripts via forged requests. The tacwp_save_settings handler accepts an unverified POST and stores an unsanitized privacyUrl value that is later emitted as a link target. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML; the stored JavaScript URL executes when the Privacy Policy link is selected.
