Database disclosure via unprepared deactivation query
Published Dec 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in WP Job Portal 2.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract sensitive information from its database. The wpjobportal_deactivate() function uses the user-controlled page_id value in an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or prepared-query parameterization. Administrator-level access is required, and the documented consequence is disclosure of database information.
