Database disclosure via unprepared field-ordering queries
Published Dec 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in WP Job Portal 2.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Administrator access to read database data. The field-ordering model incorporates fieldfor, visibleParent, and id into existing SQL statements without sufficient escaping or prepared placeholders. Administrator-level access is required; the documented consequence is extraction of sensitive database information, not data modification or service interruption.
