A data race in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird before 133 allows remote attackers to cause unspecified impact during media playback. AudioSink::InitializeAudioStream reads PlaybackParams while AudioSinkWrapper::SetVolume writes the shared state without thread synchronization. Triggering it requires media playback and a concurrent volume change; ordinary Thunderbird email reading disables scripting, limiting that route.
