NULL pointer dereference in Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird before 133 allows attackers to crash the application during PKCS#11 key derivation. NSC_DeriveKey assumes its phKey output parameter is non-NULL and dereferences it even for mechanisms where PKCS#11 permits a NULL pointer. Public sources do not identify how attackers can reach this internal API path; the documented consequence is an application crash.
