Denial of service in Firefox before 133, Firefox ESR before 128.5, and Thunderbird allows attackers to lock macOS fullscreen via a modal save dialog. The dialog interrupts a native fullscreen transition, leaving Gecko and macOS with conflicting window-state views and no standard exit path. Thunderbird Release before 133 and ESR before 128.5 are affected when the setting that always asks where to save files is enabled, and recovery requires restarting the application.
