Credential disclosure via View Password permission bypass
Published Nov 25, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager 2024.2.21 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view stored passwords. The Windows permission validation component fails to enforce the View Password restriction during specific vendor-undisclosed actions. Access requires an authenticated account able to reach affected entries; the bounded consequence is disclosure of stored credentials, with no reported data modification.
