CVE-2024-11666Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Elevated command execution via unverified cloud responses

Published Nov 24, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Improper data-authenticity verification in cPH2 Firmware through 2.0.4 allows remote attackers to execute elevated commands. The portal client disables TLS peer and hostname verification, then accepts a forged JSON remote_command value that reaches shell-backed command handling. Exploitation requires a network position between the controller and eCharge infrastructure, after which attacker-supplied commands run with elevated privileges.
