Authenticated command execution via unsanitized diag_ping input
Published Nov 25, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Command injection in EnGenius ENH1350EXT, ENS500-AC, and ENS620EXT 20241118 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The /admin/network/diag_pinginterface handler passes attacker-controlled diag_ping input into a system command without neutralizing command separators. Administrative access is required, and successful exploitation can read or alter device data and interrupt service through arbitrary command execution.
