Arbitrary file upload via forged privilege change
Published Mar 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in E4J Vik Rent Car 1.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin access privileges. The save function accepts an administrator’s forged request without valid nonce verification, enabling the attacker to grant subscribers upload rights. A site administrator must follow an attacker-controlled link; after the permissions change, subscriber-level access permits arbitrary server file uploads and possible code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
