Unauthenticated code execution via trusted cookie path
Published Jan 8, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2026
Code injection in Iptanus File Upload 4.24.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted cookie. wfu_file_downloader.php trusts the wfu_ABSPATH cookie as a filesystem prefix and passes it to require_once when loading wp-load.php. No authentication or user interaction is required; the attacker-controlled include path executes PHP in the WordPress server context.
