Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized booking input
Published Nov 23, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
SQL injection in Code Projects Simple Car Rental System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data through a booking request. In book_car.php, the application places the fname POST value directly into a SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. No login is required; a crafted booking submission can expose, modify, or delete database records, while broader host compromise is not established.
