Authenticated local-file disclosure via HTML-to-RTF export
Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Information disclosure in Progress Telerik Document Processing Libraries before 2025.1.205 allows remote authenticated users to read local files. The .NET Standard 2.0 HTML-to-RTF conversion path resolves a referenced arbitrary path and embeds that file's contents in the RTF output. Exploitation requires an application to accept attacker-influenced HTML for RTF export and exposes files readable by the application process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
