API key modification via missing nonce validation
Published Feb 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Orbit Fox 2.10.29 and earlier allows remote attackers to update connected API keys through a forged request. The register_reference() function accepts API-key update parameters without verifying a request nonce before writing the connected keys. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to submit the attacker-crafted request, such as by opening a malicious link.
