Unauthenticated option updates via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in wowDevs Sky Addons for Elementor 2.6.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to update WordPress options. The save_options() handler accepts a forged request without valid nonce verification and writes attacker-supplied array-valued settings as site options. Exploitation requires a site administrator to act on the forged request, and the write is limited to options whose values can be stored as arrays.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
