Code execution via unchecked JT buffer read
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Dec 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in the KeyShot Studio JT importer allows remote attackers to execute code by inducing import of a malicious JT file. The luxion_geometry.exe Datakit importer fails to validate user-supplied JT data before reading before the start of an allocated buffer. Execution occurs in the current process and requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the crafted file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
