Out-of-bounds write in IrfanView 4.67 with JPM plug-in 4.63 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a crafted JPM file. The JPM parser fails to validate user-supplied data before writing it, so parsing can write beyond the end of an allocated buffer. A target must open the malicious file or visit a page that supplies it, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process.
