Authenticated object injection via shortcode deserialization
Published Dec 7, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in Webdzier Gallery 1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject objects through a gallery shortcode. Shortcode.php deserializes the attacker-controlled wd_gallery_$id parameter without validating the serialized value or restricting permitted classes. Contributor-level access is required, and file deletion, sensitive-data retrieval, or code execution also requires a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
