Unauthenticated internal API access via path traversal
Published Nov 29, 2024 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Path traversal in Trellix Enterprise Security Manager before 11.6.13 allows remote attackers to access the internal Snowservice API. Snowservice accepts traversal paths and forwards requests to its AJP backend without adequate validation or authentication. No credentials or user interaction are required; reachable internal API functions expose limited information and permit protected-data modification.
