HTML injection in Issuetrak 17.1 allows remote authenticated users to place attacker-controlled markup in ticket-notification emails. Ticket comment handling accepts HTML markup and renders it without neutralization when composing email sent to every user on the ticket. Any authenticated user able to comment can use the rendered content to phish recipients, display misinformation, or collect data.
