Stored XSS via forged settings update
Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in the dejure.org Vernetzungsfunktion WordPress plugin 1.97.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. The djo_einstellungen_menue() settings handler fails to validate a request nonce before accepting attacker-controlled settings that contain web script. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an active session to follow a crafted link, after which the saved payload executes when affected content is rendered.
