Authenticated arbitrary file upload via missing validation
Published Dec 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Advanced File Manager 5.2.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files to the server. The upload handling in class_fma_connector.php accepts attacker-controlled files without validating whether their types are safe. Exploitation requires Subscriber-level access plus Administrator-granted file-manager permissions; an uploaded server-executable file enables code execution.
