CVE-2024-1138Network attack vector

Authenticated privilege escalation via client reconfiguration

Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025

Privilege escalation in TIBCO FTL - Enterprise Edition 6.10.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reconfigure attached clients. TIBCO states that FTL Server permits a low-privileged network user to reconfigure clients arbitrarily, but does not identify the faulty authorization check or request handler. Exploitation requires valid low-privileged FTL access and network reachability to the server, and its reported consequence is control over attached-client configuration.
